Born and bred in Lyon, a city rich in textile traditions, I now live in Edinburgh where I crochet, stitch and sculpt in various materials.
I enjoy experimenting and introducing unconventional materials in my work, combining them with traditional techniques and yarns.
My work is often three-dimensional and surreal and I hope to challenge people's preconceptions about textiles art and craft.
Paper, mainly recycled, features strongly in my work. I use papier-mache techniques but I also manipulate paper in more unusual ways. I am currently working on smaller pieces, transforming non precious materials into unique precious jewellery.
